Vassilis Mantzavinos
Vassilis Mantzavinos is today Member of the Board in Neptune Maritime Leasing, a dedicated and specialized ship financier founded by large and reputable shipping companies.
Prior to Neptune, Vassilis has held various senior executive positions with European banks over the past 33 years.
From 2010 to 2022 he served as General Manager Greece of UniCredit Bank AG, and from 1999 until 2010 was the Head of Greek Shipping of HypoVereinsBank AG.
Previously he was for 3 years Senior Relationship Manager with HSBC Shipping in Piraeus and earlier served for 7 years in various positions with Barclays Bank Plc in Athens and London.
Over the past 6 years, he has been Vice President of the Association of Banking and Financial Executives of Hellenic Shipping.
Vassilis is a Fulbright Scholar holding a Master of Engineering from Cornell University, an MBA from Cass Business School, and a Diploma of Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens.
Last, Vassilis has studied piano performance at the Conservatory of Athens for 14 years.
